Technically the Diamond Jubilee is over but I’m still buzzing about it all, aren’t you? To keep the spirit going I asked my followers on Facebook to send me their favourite photo from their own Diamond Jubilee celebrations. It’s been fun seeing what everyone got up to. I’m still not entirely sure what the significance of the pink hat was, but that was certainly one of the most colourful little vessels to pass by. I was so lucky to be in a boat on the tail end of the pageant as we got to see just about everyone involved. It was such a shame that it was so very cold and wet – horizontal driving rain by the end… No wonder Prince Philip ended up in hospital – I had to have a very large whisky when I got home!
I took as being one of the Queen’s lovely hats.
