Just in time for the Diamond Jubilee weekend, it’s a new, fabulous giveaway from another one of my favourite online British retailers, The Bees Knees British Imports.
The Bee’s Knees British Imports is a US-based online store selling lovely British-made and designed homewares. Their eclectic range of products has a unique style to appeal to our British abroad and Anglophile American customers. They aim to attract and maintain customers by providing first class, reliable customer service. And thanks to their Massachusetts location they can ship your favourite items to you from right here in the States. Visit their website to see all they have to offer and to sign up for their newsletter.
The Bee’s Knees was born almost a year ago from a mutual appreciation of their shared English heritage. Donna was born in England to a British mother and American father and spent part of her youth in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. Lucinda was born and raised in Cheshire, England. Now living in Massachusetts, they met fundraising for their children’s elementary school. As a friendship was forged over several years of volunteering and many cups of tea, they realized how well they worked together and decided to begin a journey to bring a small part of Britain “across the pond.”
And now, in honor of the Queen’s Jubilee, they are offering Smitten by Britain fans the chance to win a gorgeous Emma Bridgewater half pint Jubilee mug. Inscribed with ’60 Years A Queen’ this Diamond Jubilee blue 1/2 pint Mug makes a great memento gift for friends and family to commemorate this historic Royal event. This item comes in a beautiful keepsake box.
To enter:

I love this mug and would be so happy if I win!
Wow. that’s great! I’d love to get my hands on one of those. And I think as a Brit living in the USA I should be up there at the top of the list!! :))
I remember the huge party celebrating Her Majesty’s Silver Jubilee that the British forces stationed in Naples had at Carney Park. Set in a crater it was home to the US Navy’s sport field’s, drive in movie, swimming poll, grills, etc. The British forces put on a party to end all parties and for one glorious day in June everyone -Italians, Americans well, everyone was so very proud to be British and so proud of the ever beautiful Elizabeth and her service to her country. That summer afternoon was, for me, the beginning of a lifelong love affair with the UK and for 7 wonderful years my children and I lived in Chorleywood. Now back in the states there isn’t a week that goes by without one of us wishing we could go “home”, and the others promising “someday”. For now we drink PG Tips and eat Rich’s Digestives, order Pickled Onion Monster Munch by the case and despair of ever having a proper Banger or a decent English Ceddar ever again. Sorry to be so long winded. Just excited find like minded people and to take a chance on a jubilee goodie.
It’s been so fun watching the Diamond Jubilee celebrations! I’d love to add this mug to my collection. Thanks for the opportunity
Really nice! I wish I’d seen a nice Jubilee mug when I was over there last week.

Wondered what you thought of the red dress Kate wore. Do you think it was a bad choice? I’m from Massachusetts so *The Bees Knees* is a proud addition to their commerce and I am an Eddie Izzard fan and that’s swell also. Hope to win the cup!
Joanne, I must admit that I am not a massive fan of Kate. I don’t pay too much attention to what she wears or what she’s doing for that matter. I know there are many people over the moon about her bu personally, I find her boring. To me, she’s too close to being perfect and that bores me. However, I guess boring is safe for a future Queen Consort but I prefer a little more edge. I’ts more interesting. Looking forward to seeing who Prince Harry chooses! But as far as the dress went, I thought the colour was fabulous and a perfect choice. See? She’s perfect. Grrrr.
Emma Bridgewater’s pottery is so amazing! I have long admired her work, and this mug is lovely. Would love to add it to my collection.
So pretty, I really enjoyed the jubilee, hoping to go back to the UK again.
Would love to win this, I have been obsessed with England since i went, I feel like I was born in the wrong country lol
