The following is a guest post.
What can the Downton Abbey-less U.S fans do while cleverly dodging all of the season 4 spoilers?
U.S. fans eagerly await the return of Downton Abbey
One idea is to read books that remind us of that era or watch marathons of seasons one to three. Still another idea is to catch up on the all the hilarious and witty parodies that have been produced from several T.V. shows and even Broadway actors.
They can be a bit long, but worth the time! All so well done, I don’t think I can pick a favourite.
1. Downton Abbey at 54 Below, Season 4 episode 1 Sneak Peak.
Downton turned into a Broadway musical! Love, love, love. It’s so perfect that I wonder if it will become a musical someday!
2. Jimmy Fallon’s Downton Sixbey, Episode 1.
Jimmy Fallon’s take on the show. I must confess that I adore anything with Jimmy Fallon! He is the king of parodies!
3. Sesame Street Upside Downton Abbey.
A sweet muppets version of Downton. Maybe our little ones can get a taste of Downton here.
4. Breaking Abbey.
A cross between “Breaking Bad” and “Downton Abbey”. I don’t watch BB, but I love our DA guys poking fun at both shows!
5. Snore (Downton Abbey) Downton in Drag from Funny or Die.
The low down on Downton, in drag, to Madonna’s “Vogue”. Fabulous!
Diddy mocking the lack of diversity on Downton. And this is how that pesky rumor started…
Okay, so I’m entertained by all of them. A great diversion if you’re trying to stay away from the U.K. spoilers. Maybe we’ll get some ideas for Halloween costumes, too!
