This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me. Occasionally, I may have a guest post which will be clearly identified. For questions about this blog, please contact Melissa at smittenbybritain@hotmail.com.

This blog accepts forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, and other forms of compensation, including products in exchange for ad placement. I occasionally am solicited to sponsor giveaways in which I receive a free copy of the item to  review. I believe it is dishonest to review an item that I have not tried and I only agree to review items that are related to Great Britain and that I feel my readers will enjoy. I also conduct giveaways that are completely my own idea and at my expense and not sponsored by any other party.

I do sell advertising space and receive either monetary compensation or product in exchange for ad placement. I also use Pay Per Click advertising from Google Adsense, which is placed at the top and bottom of each blog post as well as in the blog’s RSS feed. I am also compensated for a sponsored post from time to time. These posts are written by a third party and will be clearly identified as sponsored posts. The same goes for any links that are sponsored. I believe in honesty of relationship, opinion and identity. The compensation received will never influence my reviews or blog posts. If I don’t like a product, I simply won’t agree to review it or advertise it.

Occasionally, I may have a guest post from a third party with a special offer for my readers. Again, this will only be something I think my readers will find appealing and beneficial, and I will disclose whether or not I have tried the product or service. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely my own. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question.
