A Visual History of the Keep Calm and Carry On Poster

The Keep Calm and Carry On poster is ubiquitous at the moment, as are its many knock-offs, so I wouldn’t blame you if you’re a bit fed up with seeing it; however, the story behind the original poster is an interesting and inspiring one.

This little poster and its simple statement was nearly lost to oblivion with only two originals left in the world, but then fate stepped in and now it is recognized around the world.

This cool graphic below,  designed by Melody Stone and shared on www.fibers.com, explains the history behind the poster. If you would like to enlarge it, please click on the image or  visit their website.
