Marla, I think my favorite part of London is the walk along the Thames just across from the Houses of Parliament. I would love to live nearby and make that area my nightly stroll. I think if there is a romantic place in London, that’s it for me.

Look at all those clouds! It’s funny in retrospect I suppose. Actually, when we met up the weather was fine. it only went crappy when I went back with the kids.

Just love that St. James shot–hard to believe you’re in London! (By the way, went back to that great Irish pub we found together in Bethesda, but it just wasn’t the same — should have stuck to the fish & chips!)

Ah, but the drink was still good I suspect.

I hate cities, but I love London! Of course, I enjoy the food halls at Harrods and all the restaurants, gastropubs and tea shops. Much of my cooking makes me feel I’m there! Would enjoy a walk in one of countless areas of London just now. Your photos are really wonderful.

Ever seen the movie Last Chance Harvey with Dustin Hoffman. That area features quite strongly. Good movie as well.
