"Life" Is Beautiful
Just in time for Spring, the Discovery Channel is premiering a beautiful BBC documentary called “Life.” This gorgeous show was shot entirely in H.D. and used the same camera techniques employed by the BBC’s “Planet Earth” documentary. “Life” originally aired in the U.K. in the Autumn of 2009 as a ten part series narrated by Sir David Attenborough. The U.S. release, which starts this Sunday night at 8 p.m. EST, is an eleven part series narrated by Oprah Winfrey. (Don’t get me started on this one.)
While “Planet Earth” taught us about the world we inhabit, “Life” reveals the fascinating day to day life and death struggles of its creatures. You’ll see up close and personal some of nature’s most incredible events. If you loved the BBC’s “Planet Earth” and “Yellowstone”, you won’t want to miss this extraordinary series.
Can’t wait to see the entire series on telly? You don’t have to. It’s available now at Amazon.
