I Need Your Help!
Hopefully that post title got your attention and you’ll stick around long enough to read what I have to say. As you might remember I celebrated my first blogoversary a couple of weeks ago, and since then I have been doing some brainstorming and trying to decide on a direction for this blog. You see, as much as I love blogging and of course the subject matter of this blog, after a while one starts to question if there really is a purpose to all of this. Of course, there is nothing wrong with doing something just for the sheer enjoyment of it. Life is to enjoy, right?
While I am proud of this blog and happy with the progress it has made in the last few months, I’m still left wondering how I can make it better. That’s where you come in. More than anything I have enjoyed having you here, the reader, the follower, whatever you like to call yourselves – you make all the hard work worthwhile. And believe me, it’s hard work at times. I don’t have a travel book in my head you know! But instead of playing guessing games and trying to figure out what type of posts you would like to read, I thought I would ask you directly. What do YOU want? What direction would you like to see this blog take? What kind of information would you find useful? What about style? Would you prefer more humorous posts, or more posts on controversial issues, or a mixture of both or something completely different? What sort of things would keep you reading this blog for the next year, or two, or three, or longer. You may have noticed I’m not the only blog about Britain on the block. What will keep you stopping by my little ol’ piece of the blogosphere? Or maybe you don’t give a toss? (That’s okay too, but I would prefer it if you saved my ego and kept that one to yourself please.)
